**Bouandougou** is a town in central [Ivory Coast](/source/Ivory_Coast). It is a [sub-prefecture](/source/Sub-prefectures_of_Ivory_Coast) of [Mankono Department](/source/Mankono_Department) in [Béré Region](/source/B%C3%A9r%C3%A9_Region), [Woroba District](/source/Woroba_District).

Bouandougou was a [commune](/source/Communes_of_Ivory_Coast) until March 2012, when it became one of 1,126 communes nationwide that were abolished.[2] In 2014, the population of the sub-prefecture of Bouandougou was 35,671.[3]
