**Botcheston Bog** is a 2.9-hectare (7.2-acre) biological [Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) near [Botcheston](/source/Botcheston), west of [Leicester](/source/Leicester).[1][2]

This grazed marsh on [peaty](/source/Peat) soil is dominated by [carnation sedge](/source/Carnation_sedge), [hard rush](/source/Juncus_inflexus), [creeping bent](/source/Agrostis_stolonifera) and [meadowsweet](/source/Filipendula_ulmaria). Other plants include several which are rare in the county.[3]

The site is private land with no public access.
