# Boone High School

**Boone High School** is a [public](/source/State_school) [high school](/source/High_school) located in [Boone, Iowa](/source/Boone,_Iowa), United States. The school's mascot is the Toreadors, and their colors are red and green. It is part of the [Boone Community School District](/source/Boone_Community_School_District).

The district, and therefore the high school attendance boundary, covers almost all of the Boone city limits.[6] Residents of the [United Community School District](/source/United_Community_School_District), which covers the remainder of the Boone city limits, [Luther](/source/Luther,_Iowa), and other areas,[7] may select the Boone district for secondary schooling.[8]

The Toreadors compete in the [Raccoon River Conference](/source/Raccoon_River_Conference) in the following sports:[9]
