**Bogra-2** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh). [Mir Shahe Alam](/source/Mir_Shahe_Alam) is the current member of parliament.

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses the entirety of [Shibganj Upazila](/source/Shibganj_Upazila%2C_Bogra), integrating the area under a single administrative and electoral boundary.[1][2]

## History

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.
