'''Bochnia County''' ({{langx|pl|powiat bocheński}}) is a unit of territorial administration and local government ([powiat](/source/powiat)) in [Lesser Poland Voivodeship](/source/Lesser_Poland_Voivodeship), southern [Poland](/source/Poland). It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the [Polish local government reforms](/source/Polish_local_government_reforms) passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is [Bochnia](/source/Bochnia), which lies {{convert|37|km|mi|0}} east of the regional capital [Kraków](/source/Krak%C3%B3w). The only other town in the county is [Nowy Wiśnicz](/source/Nowy_Wi%C5%9Bnicz), lying {{convert|8|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of Bochnia.
The county covers an area of {{convert|649.28|km2|sqmi|1}}. As of 2019 its total population is 106,626, out of which the population of Bochnia is 29,814, that of Nowy Wiśnicz is 2,757, and the rural population is 74,055.
