# Bobby Nicol

**Bobby Nicol** (11 May 1936 – 11 July 2012)[2] was a Scottish [footballer](/source/Association_football), who played for [Hibernian](/source/Hibernian_F.C.), [Barnsley](/source/Barnsley_F.C.), [Berwick Rangers](/source/Berwick_Rangers_F.C.) and [Toronto City](/source/Toronto_City).[3]

In the summer of 1962, he played abroad in the [Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League](/source/Eastern_Canada_Professional_Soccer_League) with [Toronto City](/source/Toronto_City).[4] In 1964, he returned to play for Toronto City.[5] In 1966, he signed with league rivals Toronto Roma.[6] The following season he re-signed with Toronto Roma to play in the [National Soccer League](/source/Canadian_National_Soccer_League).[7] In 1968, he continued playing in the National Soccer League with the [Toronto Ukrainians](/source/Toronto_Ukrainians).[8]
