**Robert Cecil Hubbard** (December 27, 1922 – August 27, 2011) was an American professional [basketball](/source/Basketball) player.[1] Hubbard played in the [National Basketball League](/source/National_Basketball_League_(United_States)), [Basketball Association of America](/source/Basketball_Association_of_America), [New York State Basketball League](/source/New_York_State_Basketball_League) and [American Basketball League](/source/American_Basketball_League_(1925%E2%80%931955)) in his six-year career. Hubbard played collegiately at [Springfield College](/source/Springfield_College_(Massachusetts)) in [Massachusetts](/source/Massachusetts) and was selected by the [Providence Steamrollers](/source/Providence_Steamrollers) in the [1947 BAA draft](/source/1947_BAA_draft).
