# Bob Balog

**Robert Steven Balog** (November 2, 1924 – May 3, 2011) was an American professional [football](/source/American_football) player who was an [offensive lineman](/source/Lineman_(American_football)) and [linebacker](/source/Linebacker) in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL) for the [Pittsburgh Steelers](/source/Pittsburgh_Steelers).[1]

He played college football at the [University of Denver](/source/University_of_Denver).
