The song, taken from his third studio album *[Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman)](/source/Super_Gangster_(Extraordinary_Gentleman))*, was released October 9, 2007 as the album's [lead single](/source/Lead_single). "Blow Ya Mind" is considered to be the [sequel](/source/Sequel) to his 2002 debut single "[Good Times](/source/Good_Times_(Styles_P_song))", which was also produced by Swizz Beatz.[1]

## Music video

The [music video](/source/Music_video) was directed by [Todd Angkasuwan](/source/Todd_Angkasuwan) and Styles P. Cameo appearances in the video are made by [Idris Elba](/source/Idris_Elba) and fellow [D-Block](/source/The_Lox) member [Sheek Louch](/source/Sheek_Louch). In the video, Styles P is sitting on a bench and starts having hallucinations.[2]

## Remix
