**Blaze Island** is an island located at the western end of Richardson Bay in [Coronation Gulf](/source/Coronation_Gulf),[2] and south of [Victoria Island](/source/Victoria_Island), in the [Kitikmeot Region](/source/Kitikmeot_Region), [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada.

Other islands in the vicinity include [Kigirktaryuk Island](/source/Kigirktaryuk_Island), [Onitkok Island](/source/Onitkok_Island), [Seven Mile Island](/source/Seven_Mile_Island_(Nunavut)), as well as the [Couper Islands](/source/Couper_Islands) and the [Nichols Islands](/source/Nichols_Islands). The community of [Kugluktuk](/source/Kugluktuk) (formerly Coppermine) is located on the mainland, 6.9 km (4.3 mi) to the southwest.[3]
