***Blackeyes*** is a novel by British writer [Dennis Potter](/source/Dennis_Potter), published in 1987 by [Faber and Faber](/source/Faber_and_Faber). It concerns the relationship between sexuality, exploitation, power and money. These are explored through the career of a desirable model known as "Blackeyes".[1][2]

The novel was later adapted by Potter as a 1989 [BBC](/source/BBC) television [serial of the same name](/source/Blackeyes_(TV_series)) with actress [Gina Bellman](/source/Gina_Bellman) in the eponymous role.[3]
