# Bizonula

***Bizonula letestui*** is a species of [flowering plant](/source/Flowering_plant) belonging to the family [Sapindaceae](/source/Sapindaceae). It is a tree [endemic](/source/Endemic) to [Gabon](/source/Gabon) in west-central tropical Africa.[1] It is the sole species in genus ***Bizonula***.[2]

It is known only from a single population at 300 meters elevation in the Mayombe bayaka forest, north of [Tchibanga](/source/Tchibanga) in [Nyanga Province](/source/Nyanga_Province) of Gabon. The population is outside of protected areas, and it is threatened by logging and habitat loss from forest degradation. The species is assessed as [Critically Endangered](/source/Critically_Endangered) by the [IUCN](/source/IUCN).[3]
