# Bithuli

**Bithuli** is a village in [Sareni](/source/Sareni,_Uttar_Pradesh) block of [Rae Bareli district](/source/Rae_Bareli_district), [Uttar Pradesh](/source/Uttar_Pradesh), [India](/source/India).[2] It is located 29 km from [Lalganj](/source/Lalganj,_Uttar_Pradesh), the [tehsil](/source/Tehsil) headquarters.[3] As of 2011, it has a population of 456 people, in 79 households.[2] It has one primary school and no healthcare facilities.[2] It belongs to the [nyaya panchayat](/source/Nyaya_panchayat) of [Murarmau](/source/Murarmau).[4]

The [1951 census](/source/1951_Census_of_India) recorded Bithuli as comprising 1 hamlet, with a total population of 230 people (107 male and 123 female), in 39 households and 34 physical houses.[5] The area of the village was given as 276 [acres](/source/Acre).[5] 27 residents were literate, all male.[5] The village was listed as belonging to the [pargana](/source/Pargana) of [Sareni](/source/Sareni,_Uttar_Pradesh) and the [thana](/source/Thana) of Sareni.[5]

The [1961 census](/source/1961_Census_of_India) recorded Bithuli as comprising 1 hamlet, with a total population of 267 people (114 male and 153 female), in 45 households and 37 physical houses.[6] The area of the village was given as 276 [acres](/source/Acre).[6]

The [1981 census](/source/1981_Census_of_India) recorded Bithuli as having a population of 334 people, in 87 households, and having an area of 111.11 [hectares](/source/Hectare).[3] The main staple foods were given as wheat and rice.[3]
