**Bisauri** is a village of the [Jaunpur district](/source/Jaunpur_district), [Uttar Pradesh](/source/Uttar_Pradesh), Northern India. Bisauri's [Postal Index Number](/source/Postal_Index_Number) is 222129 and its post office is at [Patrahi](/source/Patrahi,_Jaunpur). The village is also a [Gram Panchayat](/source/Gram_Panchayat), comprising itself and the village of [Tiwaripur](/source/Tiwaripur_(Bisauri)).

## Geography

The area of Bisauri village is 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) and it is the 127th biggest village by area in the sub-district.[citation needed] [Kerakat](/source/Kerakat) is nearest town, and [Varanasi](/source/Varanasi) and [Jaunpur](/source/Jaunpur,_Uttar_Pradesh) are the nearest cities.

Bisauri belongs to [Varanasi division](/source/Varanasi_division) and [Jaunpur district](/source/Jaunpur_district) administration. It is located 49 km east of the city of Jaunpur, and 306 km from [Lucknow](/source/Lucknow), the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
