**Bina** is one of the 230 [Vidhan Sabha](/source/Madhya_Pradesh_Vidhan_Sabha) (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of [Madhya Pradesh](/source/Madhya_Pradesh) state in central India. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the [Scheduled castes](/source/Dalit) since 2008, following the delimitation of the Legislative Assembly constituencies.[1]

## Overview

Bina (constituency number 35) is one of the 8 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in [Sagar district](/source/Sagar_district). This constituency presently covers [Bina Municipality](/source/Bina_Etawa) the entire Bina [tehsil](/source/Tehsil) and part of Khurai tehsil of the district.[2]

Bina is part of [Sagar Lok Sabha constituency](/source/Sagar_Lok_Sabha_constituency) along with seven other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, [Khurai](/source/Khurai%2C_Madhya_Pradesh_Assembly_constituency), [Surkhi](/source/Surkhi_Assembly_constituency), [Naryoli](/source/Naryoli_Assembly_constituency) and [Sagar](/source/Sagar%2C_Madhya_Pradesh_Assembly_constituency) in this district and [Kurwai](/source/Kurwai_Assembly_constituency), [Sironj](/source/Sironj_Assembly_constituency) and [Shamshabad](/source/Shamshabad_Assembly_constituency) in [Vidisha district](/source/Vidisha_district).[2]
