**Bimla Chaudhary** (born 1967)[1] is an Indian politician from [Haryana](/source/Haryana). She is a two time member of the [Haryana Legislative Assembly](/source/Haryana_Legislative_Assembly) representing the [Bharatiya Janata Party](/source/Bharatiya_Janata_Party) from the [Pataudi Assembly constituency](/source/Pataudi_Assembly_constituency) which is reserved for Scheduled Caste community in [Gurgaon district](/source/Gurgaon_district).[2]

## Early life and education

Chaudhary is from [Badshahpur](/source/Badshahpur), Gurgaon district, Haryana. She married late Prakash Chand. She studied Class 10 through [National Institute of Open Schooling](/source/National_Institute_of_Open_Schooling) and passed the examination in 2018.[1]

## Career

Chaudhary won from Pataudi Assembly constituency representing the Bharatiya Janata Party in the [2024 Haryana Legislative Assembly election](/source/2024_Haryana_Legislative_Assembly_election). She polled 98,519 votes and defeated her nearest rival, Pearl Chaudhary of the [Indian National Congress](/source/Indian_National_Congress), by a margin of 46,530 votes.[3][4][5] She first became an MLA winning the [2014 Haryana Legislative Assembly election](/source/2014_Haryana_Legislative_Assembly_election) where she polled 75,198 votes and defeated her nearest rival, Ganga Ram of the [Indian National Lok Dal](/source/Indian_National_Lok_Dal), by a margin of 38,963 votes.[6][7]
