# Bill Torrance

**William Torrance** (born 13 May 1946) is a [Scottish](/source/Scotland) broadcaster and entertainer who is known for hosting *[The Beechgrove Garden](/source/The_Beechgrove_Garden)* on [BBC Scotland](/source/BBC_Scotland) throughout the 1990s. Torrance was also a presenter on [Dundee](/source/Dundee) radio station [Tay 2](/source/Tay_2).[1][2]
