In his major league debut on June 10, 1938, in his very first at-bat, Lefebvre hit his only MLB [home run](/source/home_run) over [Fenway](/source/Fenway_Park)'s [Green Monster](/source/Green_Monster). From 1949 to 1963, Lefebvre was the head baseball coach at [Brown University](/source/Brown_University). He also served as a longtime [scout](/source/scout_(sport)) for the Senators and Red Sox.
