It flows south, entering Pickerel Lake and then into Beaver Run Pond. Most of the stream travels through [Delaware State Forest](/source/Delaware_State_Forest) before entering [Monroe County](/source/Monroe_County%2C_Pennsylvania). It is a prominent feature of [Resica Falls Scout Reservation](/source/Resica_Falls_Scout_Reservation).

Bush Kill joins the Delaware River at the village of [Bushkill](/source/Bushkill%2C_Pennsylvania).[3]
