**Bhelatand** is a region located between [Dhanbad](/source/Dhanbad) and [Bokaro](/source/Bokaro_district) in the [Jharkhand](/source/Jharkhand) state of [India](/source/India). This region is known for being rich in [coal](/source/Coal). The [Tata Group](/source/Tata_Group) Bheltand Washery and Colliery are located in the region,[1] with the colliery known to be over 100 years old.[2]
