**Bhattedanda** is a [village](/source/Village) and former [Village Development Committee](/source/Village_Development_Committee_(Nepal)) that is now part of [Bagmati Rural Municipality](/source/Bagmati%2C_Lalitpur) in [Province No. 3](/source/Province_No._3) of central [Nepal](/source/Nepal). At the time of the [1991 Nepal census](/source/1991_Nepal_census) it had a population of 2,044 in 349 individual households.[1]

On 28 September 1992, [Pakistan International Airlines Flight 268](/source/Pakistan_International_Airlines_Flight_268) crashed in Bhattedanda, killing all 167 people on board.[2][3][4]
