# Bexbach

**Bexbach** (ˈbɛksˌbax) is a town in the [Saarpfalz](/source/Saarpfalz) district, in [Saarland](/source/Saarland), Germany. It is situated on the river [Blies](/source/Blies), approximatively 6 km east of [Neunkirchen](/source/Neunkirchen,_Saarland), and 25 km northeast of [Saarbrücken](/source/Saarbr%C3%BCcken). The [Saarländisches Bergbaumuseum](/source/Saarl%C3%A4ndisches_Bergbaumuseum) (Saarland Mining Museum) is located in the town.
