**Bettina Elisabeth Trump**[1] ([née](/source/Birth_name#Maiden_and_married_names) **Anderson**; born December 9, 1986) is an American socialite and model. She is married to [Donald Trump Jr.](/source/Donald_Trump_Jr.) and is the daughter-in-law of [United States president](/source/President_of_the_United_States) [Donald Trump](/source/Donald_Trump).

## Early life and education

Bettina Elisabeth Anderson was born on December 9, 1986, in [Palm Beach, Florida](/source/Palm_Beach%2C_Florida), to Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson, and has a twin sister, Kristina.[2] Harry Loy was a businessman who became the youngest bank president in the US at the age of 26[3] and led Worth Avenue National Bank, and was a board member of the Historical Society of [Palm Beach County](/source/Palm_Beach_County) and of the national board of governors for the [American Red Cross](/source/American_Red_Cross),[4] while Inger was a Swedish model[5][4] turned businesswoman.[6]

Anderson attended a [Montessori school](/source/Montessori_education)[7] and later the [Palm Beach Day School](/source/Palm_Beach_Day_School),[8] where she played lacrosse.[9] She also attended [Saint Andrew's School](/source/Saint_Andrew's_School_(Florida)) in [Boca Raton](/source/Boca_Raton%2C_Florida); the *[Boca Raton News](/source/Boca_Raton_News)* described Anderson as key to Saint Andrew's unbeaten lacrosse season in 2004.[10] At Saint Andrew's, she founded a hair accessory business with Kristina.[11]

Anderson graduated from Saint Andrew's in 2005[12] and from [Columbia University](/source/Columbia_University) in 2009[4] with a degree in art history, criticism, and conservation.[13]

## Career

### Socialite and modeling work (2005–present)

In May 2005, P Model Management recruited Anderson for work in [Milan](/source/Milan).[14] She modeled for the cover of *[Quest](/source/Quest_(lifestyle_magazine))* in 2020 and did a photoshoot with Hamilton Jewelers that year.[4] Anderson has appeared on the cover of *[Society](/source/Society_(magazine))*.[5] She is a socialite in the Palm Beach area[15] and has planned local fundraisers, including for the [Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach](/source/Preservation_Foundation_of_Palm_Beach).[16]

### Philanthropy

Anderson and her brothers founded The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit that assists with disaster relief. In October 2021, she led the fund's Project Paradise Film Fund, which supports media covering the [wildlife of Florida](/source/Wildlife_of_Florida). By April 2023, Anderson had become the executive director of The Paradise Fund, an organization that was later renamed to Paradise.ngo.[4] She has advocated for the Hope for Depression Research Foundation and, according to *[People](/source/People_(magazine))*, has volunteered with the [Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County](/source/Literacy_Coalition_of_Palm_Beach_County).[17]

## Views

According to *[The Daily Telegraph](/source/The_Daily_Telegraph)*, Anderson is a [Republican](/source/Republican_Party_(United_States)). Amid the [George Floyd protests](/source/George_Floyd_protests) in 2020, she supported the [Black Lives Matter](/source/Black_Lives_Matter) movement and encouraged followers to follow [measures to mitigate](/source/Public_health_mitigation_of_COVID-19) the spread of [COVID-19](/source/COVID-19), including a post the day before the [2020 presidential election](/source/2020_United_States_presidential_election) of her in a mask with a sign reading, "Only you can stop the spread of ignorance".[18]

In October 2024, she held a fundraiser for [Donald Trump](/source/Donald_Trump).[19]

## Personal life

In August 2024, the *[Daily Mail](/source/Daily_Mail)* published photographs of Anderson and [Trump Jr.](/source/Donald_Trump_Jr.) at a bar, and in December, the *Mail* published additional photographs of Anderson and Trump Jr. holding hands.[20] Anderson accompanied Trump Jr. to [Serbia](/source/Serbia) in March 2025,[21] to the [FIFA Club World Cup final](/source/2025_FIFA_Club_World_Cup_final) in July,[22] and to Trump's dinner with Saudi crown prince [Mohammed bin Salman](/source/Mohammed_bin_Salman) in November.[23] The following month, the elder Trump announced his son's engagement to Anderson at a [White House](/source/White_House) holiday party.[24]

Anderson and Trump Jr. married in a private ceremony on May 21, 2026, ahead of a private wedding celebration in the [Bahamas](/source/Bahamas) on May 23, 2026.[25][26]
