**Elizabeth Susan Gleeson** (7 March 1943 – 16 December 1989) was an Australian politician.

She was born in [Warrnambool](/source/Warrnambool), where she attended St Anne's College. She received a [Bachelor of Arts](/source/Bachelor_of_Arts) from [La Trobe University](/source/La_Trobe_University), after which she worked as a research assistant to federal MP [Harry Jenkins](/source/Harry_Jenkins_Sr.). A [Labor Party](/source/Australian_Labor_Party_(Victorian_Branch)) member, she was a delegate to the state conference and was campaign director for [John Cain](/source/John_Cain_(junior)).

In 1985, she was elected to the [Victorian Legislative Assembly](/source/Victorian_Legislative_Assembly) as the member for [Thomastown](/source/Electoral_district_of_Thomastown), but died in 1989 while still in office.[1]
