**Bershad Raion** ([Ukrainian](/source/Ukrainian_language): Бершадський район) was one of raions of [Vinnytsia Oblast](/source/Vinnytsia_Oblast), located in southwestern [Ukraine](/source/Ukraine). The administrative center of the [raion](/source/Raion) was the town of [Bershad](/source/Bershad). The raion was abolished and its territory was merged into [Haisyn Raion](/source/Haisyn_Raion) on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Vinnytsia Oblast to six.[2][3] The last estimate of the raion population was 56,776 (2020 est.).[1]
