==Early life==
Riley [prepped](/source/High_school_football) and was a high school [All-American](/source/All-American) at [Los Alamitos High School](/source/Los_Alamitos_High_School), playing under Coach John Barnes and alongside [Keenan Howry](/source/Keenan_Howry) and [Chris Kluwe](/source/Chris_Kluwe). Riley started as a defensive lineman.
