The '''Berendries''' is an uphill street in [Michelbeke](/source/Michelbeke), part of the municipality of [Brakel](/source/Brakel%2C_Belgium), in the [Belgian](/source/Belgium) province of [East Flanders](/source/East_Flanders). Its summit reaches 98&nbsp;m altitude, making it the highest hill of the Zwalm region, just north of the [Flemish Ardennes](/source/Flemish_Ardennes). The road has an [asphalt](/source/Asphalt_concrete) surface and links the valley town of Michelbeke to the hilltop town of [Sint-Maria-Oudenhove](/source/Sint-Maria-Oudenhove).

==Cycling==
The climb is best known from [road bicycle racing](/source/road_bicycle_racing), where it regularly features in the Flemish races in spring, most notably the [Tour of Flanders](/source/Tour_of_Flanders_(disambiguation)).
