# Benjamin Zymler

**Benjamin Zymler** (born 25 March 1956) is a Brazilian engineer and official in the [Government of Brazil](/source/Federal_government_of_Brazil).

Zymler is the Controller General in the General Audit and Control Court, the Federal body responsible for the oversight of all Brazilian public accounts.[1]

Zymler is based in [Brasília](/source/Bras%C3%ADlia). He is a graduate of the [Military Institute of Engineering](/source/Military_Institute_of_Engineering) and of Law. He has written extensively on the subject of audit and [public oversight](/source/Public_Oversight,_Accounting_and_Auditing_Standards_Authority) in government.
