Benjamin G. Dy, Sr. was born in [Cauayan, Isabela](/source/Cauayan%2C_Isabela) on September 22, 1952. ==Political life==
Dy served as vice mayor of [Cauayan, Isabela](/source/Cauayan%2C_Isabela) until 1983 when Mayor Carlos Uy was appointed Assistant Provincial Health Officer in [Ilagan](/source/Ilagan).
