# Benjamin Daviet

**Benjamin Daviet** (born 16 June 1989) is a French male [cross-country skier](/source/Paralympic_cross-country_skiing) and [biathlete](/source/Paralympic_biathlon). He has competed at the [Winter Paralympics](/source/Winter_Paralympics) twice in his career in [2014](/source/2014_Winter_Paralympics) and [2018](/source/2018_Winter_Paralympics).[1] Daviet claimed the first Paralympic gold medal of his career after winning the [men's 7.5km standing biathlon event](/source/Biathlon_at_the_2018_Winter_Paralympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_7.5_kilometres) during the 2018 Winter Paralympics.[2][3][4]

## Career

Daviet made his Paralympic debut during the 2014 Winter Paralympics and claimed a bronze medal in the [cross-country skiing 4 x 2.5 km relay open event](/source/Cross-country_skiing_at_the_2014_Winter_Paralympics_%E2%80%93_4_x_2.5_kilometre_open_relay).[5]

He won the bronze medal in the men's 10 km standing biathlon event at the [2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships](/source/2021_World_Para_Snow_Sports_Championships) held in Lillehammer, Norway.[6][7]
