## History

In 2007, [Kappa Books](/source/Kappa_Books) acquired a minority stake in Bendon.[1]

In 2012, The Wicks Group purchased the [majority stake](/source/Majority_stake) in Bendon.[2]

In 2013, Bendon had acquired Dalmatian Press.[3]

In 2014, Bendon acquired Artistic Studios.[4]

In 2015, [Irving Place Capital](/source/Irving_Place_Capital) acquired Bendon from The Wicks Group.[5]

In 2017, Bendon and [Kathy Ireland Worldwide](/source/Kathy_Ireland#Kathy_Ireland_Worldwide) extended their partnership.[6]

In May 2019, Bendon partnered with Devar to make a series of four [My Little Pony](/source/My_Little_Pony)-branded, AR-enhanced coloring and [activity books](/source/Activity_book).[7]
