**Benjamin Vallentina Warley** (September 4, 1936 – April 5, 2002) was an American professional [basketball](/source/Basketball) player.

A 6'5" [forward](/source/Forward_(basketball))/[guard](/source/Guard_(basketball)) from [Tennessee State University](/source/Tennessee_State_University), Warley played five seasons (1962–1967) in the [National Basketball Association](/source/National_Basketball_Association) as a member of the [Syracuse Nationals](/source/Syracuse_Nationals), [Philadelphia 76ers](/source/Philadelphia_76ers), and [Baltimore Bullets](/source/Baltimore_Bullets_(1963%E2%80%9373)). He averaged 8.4 [points per game](/source/Points_per_game) and 5.6 [rebounds per game](/source/Rebounds_per_game). Warley later played with several teams in the [American Basketball Association](/source/American_Basketball_Association), representing the [Anaheim Amigos](/source/Anaheim_Amigos) in the [1968 ABA All-Star Game](/source/1968_ABA_All-Star_Game).[1]

Warley played in the [Eastern Basketball Association](/source/Eastern_Basketball_Association) (EBA) for the [Camden Bullets](/source/Camden_Bullets), [Wilkes-Barre Barons](/source/Wilkes-Barre_Barons), [Hazleton Bullets](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hazleton_Bullets&action=edit&redlink=1) and [Cherry Hill Rookies](/source/Cherry_Hill_Rookies) from 1970 to 1974.[2] He was selected to the All-EBA First Team in 1971.[2]

Warley settled in Philadelphia after his playing career was over. He served as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Kings of the [Continental Basketball Association](/source/Continental_Basketball_Association) under head coach [Hal Greer](/source/Hal_Greer).[3] On December 27, 1980, Warley was activated as a player in a game due to a shortage of Kings players; he scored 4 points in 12 minutes.[3]

Warley died of [liver cancer](/source/Hepatocellular_carcinoma) in 2002.[4]
