He has since been in TV series such as ''[Bugs](/source/Bugs_(TV_series))'', ''[Casualty](/source/Casualty_(TV_series))'', ''[The Bill](/source/The_Bill)'', ''[I Shouldn't Be Alive](/source/I_Shouldn't_Be_Alive)'', ''[Doctors](/source/Doctors_(2000_TV_series))'' and ''[EastEnders](/source/EastEnders)''.

Nealon was also in the Indian films ''[Lagaan](/source/Lagaan)'' and ''[Mangal Pandey: The Rising](/source/Mangal_Pandey%3A_The_Rising)''. In both films he portrayed Hindi-speaking British Army officers who oppressed the local population during the time of [British India](/source/British_India).

Nealon has been involved in [Pump Aid](/source/Pump_Aid) since he met Ian Thorpe, Amos Chitungo and Tendai Mawunga whilst filming in Zimbabwe in 1998. He convened the first trustees meeting in January 1999 and is currently the development director. He was appointed Officer of the [Order of the British Empire](/source/Order_of_the_British_Empire) (OBE) in the 2012 Birthday Honours for services to Pump Aid.<ref>{{London Gazette|issue=60173|supp=y|page=11|date=16 June 2012}}</ref>
