# Beloretsk constituency

The **Beloretsk constituency (No. 5)** is a [Russian legislative constituency](/source/Constituencies_of_Russia) in [Bashkortostan](/source/Bashkortostan). The constituency covers parts of [Ufa](/source/Ufa) and east-central Bashkiria, stretching from eastern Ufa to the city of [Beloretsk](/source/Beloretsk). Beloretsk constituency was created in 2015 from parts of former [Kirovsky](/source/Kirovsky_constituency_(Bashkortostan)), [Kalininsky](/source/Kalininsky_constituency_(Bashkortostan)) and [Kumertau](/source/Kumertau_constituency) constituencies.

The constituency has been represented since [2021](/source/2021_Russian_legislative_election) by [United Russia](/source/United_Russia) deputy [Elvira Aitkulova](/source/Elvira_Aitkulova), Deputy Chairwoman of the [State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan](/source/State_Assembly_of_the_Republic_of_Bashkortostan) and former journalist, who won the open seat, succeeding two-term United Russia incumbent [Zugura Rakhmatullina](/source/Zugura_Rakhmatullina).
