**Belinda Josephine Stowell** [OAM](/source/Medal_of_the_Order_of_Australia) (born 28 May 1971 in [Harare](/source/Harare), Zimbabwe)[1] is an Australian [sailor](/source/Sailing_(sport)) and Olympic champion. She won a gold medal in the [470 class](/source/Sailing_at_the_2000_Summer_Olympics) with [Jenny Armstrong](/source/Jenny_Armstrong) at the [2000 Summer Olympics](/source/2000_Summer_Olympics) in Sydney.[2]

In 2017, Stowell and Armstrong were inaugural inductees in the [Australian Sailing Hall of Fame](/source/Australian_Sailing_Hall_of_Fame).[3] She went on into coaching.[4]
