'''''Beautiful Loser''''' is the eighth studio album by [American](/source/United_States) [rock](/source/rock_and_roll) artist [Bob Seger](/source/Bob_Seger), [released in 1975](/source/1975_in_music). This album marked Seger's return to [Capitol Records](/source/Capitol_Records) after a four-year split. His previous record with Capitol was ''[Brand New Morning](/source/Brand_New_Morning_(Bob_Seger_album))'' in 1971.

The album relied mostly on session musicians from the [Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section](/source/Muscle_Shoals_Rhythm_Section), but the Silver Bullet Band members were used separately on some songs and together on "[Nutbush City Limits](/source/Nutbush_City_Limits)," a cover song of the hit by [Ike & Tina Turner](/source/Ike_%26_Tina_Turner).
