# Beat Gerber

**Beat Gerber** (born 16 May 1982) is a [Swiss](/source/Switzerland) professional [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) player who is currently playing for [SC Bern](/source/SC_Bern) in Switzerland's [National League](/source/National_League_(ice_hockey)) (NL).[1]

On 28 September 2017, Gerber signed a two-year contract extension with the SC Bern.[2]

He participated at the [2011 IIHF World Championship](/source/2011_IIHF_World_Championship) as a member of the [Switzerland men's national ice hockey team](/source/Switzerland_men's_national_ice_hockey_team).
