***Basirepomys*** is an extinct genus of [Cricetidae](/source/Cricetidae) that existed in the [United States](/source/United_States) during the [Late Miocene](/source/Late_Miocene) period. It contains the species *B. pliocenicus* and *B. robertsi*.[3]
