**Basile Essa Mvondo** (born 19 April 1978) is a Cameroonian former professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as an [attacking midfielder](/source/Attacking_midfielder).[1]

He played in the [Cameroon national team](/source/Cameroon_national_football_team) that won the 1995 [African Youth Championship](/source/African_Youth_Championship). He made eight appearances for Cameroon,[1] and made the squad for the [1996 African Cup of Nations](/source/1996_African_Cup_of_Nations).[2]

He played his club football with [Aigle Royal Menoua](/source/Aigle_Royal_Menoua) in the 1995–96 season, and with [Arema F.C.](/source/Arema_F.C.) in Indonesia in the 2007–08 season, following which he retired from football.[3]
