**Barry Swift** (born 11 November 1976 in [Port of Spain](/source/Port_of_Spain), [Trinidad](/source/Trinidad)) is a former [association football](/source/Association_football) player who had a brief spell at the [NY/NJ MetroStars](/source/New_York_Red_Bulls) during the 1998 season and played for [Maryland Mania](/source/Maryland_Mania) in the [A-League](/source/A-League_(1995%E2%80%932004)) in 1999.[1][2]
