**Barnaba M. Zingani** (born 3 March 1958) is a [Malawian](/source/Demographics_of_Malawi) novelist and teacher.[1] He is the son of the late Rev. Maxwell Zingani, a primary school teacher and [Anglican](/source/Anglican_church) [priest](/source/Anglican_priest), and is the brother of the late author and journalist [Willie Zingani](/source/Willie_Zingani).

Zingani has written five books in the [Chichewa](/source/Chewa_language) language, as well as a technical book, *[Air Conditioning](/source/Air_Conditioning) and [Refrigeration](/source/Refrigeration) Mechanics*,[2] and a number of [short stories](/source/Short_story) in Chichewa, published in Moni magazine.[1] Zingani has also published a children's book in English, *[Black-Skinned](/source/Black_people) Scientist and Other Stories* (2016).[3] He was also a member of the [Malawi Writers Group](/source/Malawi_Writers_Group).

- *Kugwira Njakata* (1991)

- *Ufiti* (1992) (children's book)

- *Mmphawi wa Chuma* (2000)

Zingani is married, and has three daughters and a son.
