== Location and geography ==
Barit Island is north of [Luzon](/source/Luzon) Island in the [Luzon Strait](/source/Luzon_Strait). Part of the [Babuyan Islands](/source/Babuyan_Islands), Barit is {{convert|0.75|mi}} west of nearby [Fuga Island](/source/Fuga_Island).
