== History ==
[LRA](/source/Lord's_Resistance_Army) attacked Bariguna on 24 June 2009. [SPLM-IO](/source/Sudan_People's_Liberation_Movement-in-Opposition) established its base in Bariguna around May 2018 after suffering defeat from the [SSDF](/source/South_Sudan_People's_Defence_Forces) forces in Nadiangere.
