**Baniyas Refinery Sports Club** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): نادي مصفاة بانياس الرياضي) is a Syrian [football](/source/Football_(soccer)) club based in the city of [Baniyas](/source/Baniyas). It is named after the [Baniyas Refinery](/source/Baniyas_Refinery). The club promoted to the [Syrian Premier League](/source/Syrian_Premier_League) for the first time in their history in [2011–12](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Syrian_Premier_League) season.[1]
