**Balderup** is an estate, located on the plateau above [Arild](/source/Arild) village in [Höganäs Municipality](/source/H%C3%B6gan%C3%A4s_Municipality), [Skåne County](/source/Sk%C3%A5ne_County), Sweden. It is considered as part of the particularly valuable cultural environment on the [Kullaberg](/source/Kullaberg) peninsula.[1] The manor was built by MP John Olsson[2] during the years 1905-1906 and designed by the Danish architect Christopher Varming.[3] The building is constructed of red brick with a [hipped](/source/Hip_roof) tiled roof and architectural details in white limestone.[4] The grounds covered 50 ha, which was achieved through the consolidation of land which was previously Flundarp, Bracke and Eleshult.[5] Olsson erected 11 greenhouses and a park of 5 ha, famous for the extensive [rhododendron](/source/Rhododendron) bushes, [rose](/source/Rose) plants and exotic trees and plants.
