**Bahram Mavaddat** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): بهرام مودت; born 30 January 1950) is a retired [Iranian](/source/Iran) football player.

## Club career

Mavaddat started his professional career for [Shahin F.C.](/source/Shahin_F.C.) After playing for [Paykan F.C.](/source/Paykan_F.C.), he changed to [Persepolis F.C.](/source/Persepolis_F.C.), where he won the [Iranian championships in 1974](/source/1973%E2%80%9374_Takht_Jamshid_Cup) and in [1976](/source/1975%E2%80%9376_Takht_Jamshid_Cup) and reach the runner-up position in [1975](/source/1974%E2%80%9375_Takht_Jamshid_Cup).[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

In 1976, he changed to [Sepahan F.C.](/source/Sepahan_F.C.), where he played his two last seasons before retiring.

## International career

He played for the [Iran national football team](/source/Iran_national_football_team) and was the second-choice Goal Keeper at the [1978 FIFA World Cup](/source/1978_FIFA_World_Cup).

## After retirement from football

Mavaddat joined the [People's Mujahedin of Iran](/source/People's_Mujahedin_of_Iran), an opposition political party after the [Iranian Revolution](/source/Iranian_Revolution) together with [Hassan Nayebagha](/source/Hassan_Nayebagha) and now is one of the members of the [National Council of Resistance of Iran](/source/National_Council_of_Resistance_of_Iran).
