The **Bacon County Courthouse** is a historic [county courthouse](/source/County_courthouse) on Main Street in [Alma](/source/Alma,_Georgia), [Bacon County](/source/Bacon_County,_Georgia), [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)). It was designed by architect [J. J. Baldwin](/source/J._J._Baldwin) and completed in 1920.[2] The [Rabinowitz Building](/source/Rabinowitz_Building) was temporally used as the courthouse during the construction of the current courthouse.[3] It was added to the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) on September 18, 1980.

According to its National Register nomination, the courthouse is one of only two in Georgia whose main entrances face the corner of a block. The other is the [Morgan County Courthouse](/source/Morgan_County_Courthouse_(Madison,_Georgia)) in [Madison, Georgia](/source/Madison,_Georgia).[4]
