**B.A.L.L.** (pronounced "ball") were an American [alternative rock](/source/Alternative_rock) band from [New York City](/source/New_York_City), formed in 1987.[1] The band was formed by [Don Fleming](/source/Don_Fleming_(musician)), [Kramer](/source/Kramer_(musician)), [David Licht](/source/David_Licht) and Jay Spiegel.[2][3] After releasing 4 LP's (all Produced & Engineered by [Kramer](/source/Kramer_(musician)) for his [Shimmy-Disc](/source/Shimmy-Disc) label) and touring the US and Europe extensively with bands such as [Sonic Youth](/source/Sonic_Youth) and [Teenage Fanclub](/source/Teenage_Fanclub), the band disintegrated in 1990, its members pursuing separate projects.[1]
