# Azores Senior Open

The **Azores Senior Open** was a men's senior (over 50) professional [golf](/source/Golf) tournament on the [European Seniors Tour](/source/European_Seniors_Tour), held at the Batalha Golf Course in [Ponta Delgada](/source/Ponta_Delgada) on [São Miguel Island](/source/S%C3%A3o_Miguel_Island) in the [Azores](/source/Azores). It was held just once, in March 2008, and was won by [Stewart Ginn](/source/Stewart_Ginn) who finished two shots ahead of [Nick Job](/source/Nick_Job).[1] The total prize fund was €325,000 with the winner receiving €48,750.
