'''''Axoclinus''''' is a genus of [triplefin](/source/Threefin_blenny)s in the [family](/source/Family_(taxonomy)) [Tripterygiidae](/source/Tripterygiidae). This genus has six described species.<ref name = FishBase>{{FishBase genus | genus = Axoclinus | month = February | year = 2019}}</ref> It is restricted to the eastern tropical Pacific.<ref name = Bussing>{{cite journal | author = W.A. The genus is characterised by having [ctenoid](/source/ctenoid) scales, a lateral line which shows pored scales towards the head and notched scales towards the tail, the [pelvic fin](/source/pelvic_fin)s have two separated rays and the [anal fin](/source/anal_fin) also has two spines and the possession of vomerine teeth but no palatine teeth.<ref name = Bussing/>
